Ready to try AllSpice?

Follow to steps below to download and install AllSpice

Download for Windows

Extract the zip and run the allspice_diff.exe file in the folder.
If prompted by Windows Security, select "More info" and "Run anyway".
Press enter when asked if you would like to continue.
After the install you need to add a text file named .gitattributes with the following line to the top level of any git directory you want to use AllSpice diff in:
 
                            *.schdoc diff=allspice
After this, you can run git diff just as you would with text-based files.

Download for Mac

Extract the zip and run the allspice_diff.macos.<version>.dist  file in the folder.
In the terminal window, type ./allspice_diff
When asked if you want to install AllSpice diff, type and press enter. 
After the installation, press enter again to finish. 
After the install you need to add a text file named `.gitattributes` with the following line to the top level of any git directory you want to use AllSpice diff in:
 
                            *.schdoc diff=allspice
After this, you can run git diff just as you would with text-based files.
Note for Mac OS 10.15 
If you're prompted that the file can't be open, you can follow these steps:
Click OK in the error message and then Cancel to close the installation.
Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General and click Open Anyway to allow AllSpice to run. 
 
Navigate to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy and select "Developer Tools" on the left menu. There,  check the the Terminal box to add it. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Go back to the allspice_diff.macos.<version>.dist and restart. Then follow the steps above to complete the installation.
